DRE Vetro E – Synchro / CELL
DRE Vetro E – Synchro / CELL brings a framed glass design together with two different surface families: EGGER synchronous laminate and DRE-Cell foil. The choice gives the collection a range of appearances while retaining its reinforced MDF frame and tubular chipboard filling. An 8 mm laminated tempered glass section provides the glazed surface, with DECORMAT and opaque black versions listed by DRE. The glass has a fixed width regardless of the chosen door width, so the surrounding solid portion changes as the leaf size changes. This makes Vetro E useful to review as a complete composition of glass, frame surface, and edge detail rather than as a single finish sample viewed apart from the doorway.
The Synchro option uses a 3 mm synchronous laminated board from EGGER on the broad leaf surface, while the CELL option uses DRE-Cell foil. These are manufactured finish surfaces, with their selected decor providing the color or wood-look effect. The listed DECORMAT glass gives one appearance; the opaque black laminated tempered panel gives another and does not preserve a view through the glazing. DRE recommends corresponding frame finishes for the chosen surface family, including coordinated frames for DRE-Cell and specified black or Halifax options for synchronous laminates. Review that combination while selecting the leaf so the visible frame and the wider door surface have the intended relationship when closed. Edge colors also depend on the selected finish, with black and coordinated choices listed for the relevant designs. Include that edge selection with the frame finish in the order.
Vetro E is offered in rebated hinged, non-rebated hinged, and sliding arrangements. The rebated door uses three screw-in hinges, while the non-rebated hinged selection uses recessed Estetic 80 hinge preparation and a magnetic lock. A sliding leaf is prepared for its hook lock and/or pulls, with a suitable mechanism ordered for that configuration. DRE states that the sliding Vetro E leaf does not fit the PLUS frame-cassette system. It also cannot be shortened. Select the movement before finalizing the frame, hardware, and opening measurements, especially when comparing a hinged doorway with a sliding alternative. The same design family can support different movement choices, but the complete assemblies use their corresponding fittings.
