DRE Vetro D1 combines a reinforced MDF frame with an 8 mm tempered glass section. Its construction creates a door with both a solid framed area and a glass surface, giving the opening a more defined edge than an all-glass leaf. DRE uses a narrow frame element of fixed width and a wider element that changes with the selected leaf width. The glass itself remains a fixed width across the listed door sizes. This makes the panel proportions an important part of the choice: changing the leaf width does not simply enlarge every part of the design equally. Vetro D1 can be considered where a room needs a visible door surface while retaining a glazed connection to the space beyond. Compare the illustrated design in the selected leaf width before ordering, because the fixed glass width leaves a different amount of solid surface around it as the overall door becomes wider.
The standard construction includes a tubular chipboard filling and tempered glass. DRE illustrates transparent, DECORMAT, brown DECORMAT, and graphite DECORMAT versions, with a laminated tempered black-glass option listed separately. Glass orientation can also be reversed, allowing the selected design to follow the preferred arrangement in the doorway. For the hinged assembly, the rebated version uses three screw-in hinges and a choice of regular-key, bathroom, cylinder, or latch-only locking arrangements. A non-rebated hinged alternative is listed specifically in matte white, with its own recessed-hinge preparation and magnetic lock. Those configurations should be chosen as complete assemblies so the leaf edge, frame, and hardware agree.
A sliding Vetro D1 leaf is also available, prepared for the appropriate hook lock and/or pulls. Choose a compatible sliding system before ordering the mechanism. DRE specifically states that the sliding Vetro D leaf does not fit the PLUS frame-cassette system, so that option cannot be assumed from the availability of a sliding version. The leaf cannot be shortened. Nominal widths run from 60 through 100, and the finished opening should be measured before the selected size is ordered. A ventilation undercut is an optional choice, while frame and handle remain separate from the published leaf amount. Review the glass, edge arrangement, and movement together to keep the order consistent with the intended opening.
